Hello Friends

Well this week has been a much better week. I definitely feel like I'm getting more into the whole missionary thing like I'm starting to realize that yeah I have nothing better to do but get to work and figure it out for the next 2 years Haha and I hear once you figure it out you are going home so that's just great.  We'll that's just what the old timers tell me haha. 

 

 

It's amazing how inspired my mission president is. He is truly called from God just the way he talks. He talks like he is speaking the words of God he speaks with great power and authority. We had a big Zone conference with the whole mission and it was like king Benjamins tower or whatever that's what the theme was. And he Spoke to us all and it was so good I learned so much. It was good to see the other missionaries around here. One of The APs is named Elder Black and he is from Idaho apparently he is from a ranch as well it was good to talk a little hay talk with him. Thats what everyone around here calls it, he showed steers in his local fair as well yeah good times 

 

 

So I'm having like the biggest problem with telling people where I'm from. Because I just say southern Utah and well apparently a bunch of people have either drove through Orderville or they know where Zion is so they ask what town so i tell them. And they know where it is. But probably 75% have no idea where I'm from so I'm like you don't know where I'm from but here you go, then I tell them and the ones that do know where orderville is I then tell them I'm not actually from there I'm from a smaller town called Mt Carmel, ahah sheeesh it's confusing but haha we are getting it figured out.

 

 

I love the area I'm called to I love it so much there is people to talk to and most of them are willing a small percentage will shut the door in your face but that's OK. But I swear I just say I work on a ranch and this whole week I've probably had like 8 hour long conversations about the ranch haha its good I'm glad I can connect with them. Then share a small spiritual message of course haha. 

 

 

This is getting long and I know from experience of reading other missionaries emails I'm getting tired of it by now so I'll wrap up.

 

 

My testimony for our savior Jesus Christ is growing so much. Being able to give back a small percentage of what he gave up for me and all you makes it feel so good. I haven't ever realized how much he did for us. But I have come to know the power of the attonment its so real and he wants nothing more then for you to come live with him again. I know that he loves each and everyone of you and is watching over you. He doesn't put anything in your life that you can't handle keep him in your thoughts and actions and your life will be filled with joy and happiness i promise you. I say these things humbly in the name of Jesus Christ amen
