Well this week was pretty fun. So for Christmas eve the WHOLE mission got together at a stake center and had a devotional thing. It was so fun to see everyone and talk with old friends from the MTC. Also we got to listen to President and Sister Haymond! They are both very good speakers and really get the whole mission motivated to do the Lords work. But we got to eat pizza and we had a big ole hot chocolate stand, they had them hot chocolate bombs they are sweet!     Then on Christmas day we did the good ole wake up at 6:30 and opened the gifts we got from friends and family and people in the ward. They are taking good care of us missionaries. I think I have gained at least 4 pounds this week and we only get to eat at members' home on the weekends so it's impressive I know haha. Hey everyone it has been a pretty busy week of introducing everyone to my new companion so we just went around to the members as well as anyone else that would talk to us. But we have been sharing a Christ message with people so it has been really easy to get into people's homes and just share a quick message with people I love that about Christmas time. People are so happy and do you know why? CHRISTmas! Everything is better with Christ and only if people knew they can have Christ with them all year not just during Christmas! The world would be a much better place. But that's what I'm trying to do is just make people's days a little better just by sharing that light of Christ!      Today during p day we had a white elephant gift exchange and I gave the calendar of me riding my horse in the state Bank calendar haha and everyone loved it. Well, it was a pretty good week and it has been pretty crazy for sure. We had a long week just trying to get into people's homes and talk with them but it's hard because it's getting busy with Christmas and all but we made it through.      The crazy part is well we are having a Mid-Transfer because they are letting all the missionaries that would go home at the end of this transfer go home a couple weeks early so, they can be home for Christmas so stuff was pretty mixed up. But me and my companion got split up and he is going somewhere else and well now I am going to be training another Elder. The thing is I haven't even finished my training yet so we are going to be put in it and figure it out. So, it will be a great learning experience for me. I'm excited the Lord has trusted me with this big step on my mission. I know it will bless me for years to come.  I know that as we put our trust in the lord all things are possible, I don't even know how it would be pos...

Well it has been a pretty good week out here in Oregon for sure. I mean technically 2 weeks because I didn't write last week oops sorry about that haha     Anyway this week has been wild and we had a pretty exciting thing happen. If you remember the guy we were teaching Jeff. Well his baptism was this week and all week he was awfully nervous about it all and was thinking about not doing it but me and Elder Mccoy would go over and calm him down and tell him this is the best thibg for him and it will bless him for the best. He was very nervous about paying tithing but we had a recent convert to the church who he is pretty good friends with and they bascially told him all that money you pay will all come back to you one way or another which is very true. But anyway on December 5th he was bapttized and it was so cool to be apart of someones path back to their Heavanly Father i coulnt be anymore greatful.
