SURPRISE!

Image
W ell this week has been kinda wild. I had a lot of firsts for me.    But me and Elder Cramer started off the week really well. We were finding, teaching, and testifying! The Farmington ward had been doing so good. There are like 3 people who will be baptized as soon as they get married. But who knows how long that'll take them? But one day we were stopping by our friend named Jonathan.  But he didn't answer the door his brother Don answered. Said Jonathan was busy but we could talk to him. His wife Tombozi joined in as well. We told him our purpose and he goes wait you baptize people. And we were like well yes of course. Then I was like do you wanna be baptized? He was like yes! I was baptized when I was a baby and don't remember anything. But he then was like don't you think I should see the church first. So we set up a church tour for Saturday!    Flash forward to Saturday morning we are planning out the day, we do our studies and are in the middle of comp st...

Glory To God

Everyone God is amazing. This week has been amazing. We have seen so many miracles.    To start off with the greatest of them all. Your prayers have been answered! Our friend Anny was baptized. She was so happy, everything just worked out so well. Her husband was the one who baptized her. He has been working so hard to get worthy and he did it. In as much as we repent God will forgive us!  Anny invited her whole family to the baptism and none of them are members. So it was great they all got to see her make a mighty change and hopefully it might spark an interest inside the family. Also our friend Kamie and her family came to the baptism as well. She really enjoyed it. And she came to sacrament meeting the day after. Needless to say many great things happened this week.    I got a new comp. Welcome Elder Cramer. He is from Colorado and is really really really really smart lol. He loves math and figures out everything logically. If you know me I'm a fly by t...

Transfers

This week has been good! Many good things have happened. We met a lot of people this week. Knocked on a bunch of doors. I think everyone was off celebrating mothers day. As you should! Hope all you moms had a great mother's day!    Out friend Anny is getting baptized this weekend on Saturday! Please pray that everything will line up.   We got transfer news last night and I am staying here again in Farmington and I am getting a new comp Elder Cramer. He speaks Portuguese so that's kinda cool! It should be a good next 6 weeks.    I also learned this week that I've been out here for 20 months not 18 I was a little behind haha  but it's been a blessing to able to serve our Master for this period of time! A scripture that has stuck out to me this week as I was studying.   John 15:14    "Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you"   Jesus Christ has become my friend! I know that He has been there for me even when I wouldn't help...

I'm Back!

Well hello everyone sorry I didn't write a email last week. But the last 2 weeks have been great. So many amazing opportunities to share the gospel. One thing I've tried to do on my mission is learn something from everyone I talk to. If it's something I want to apply into my life or if something I know is not a godly attribute that I want to avoid.    Some things that have happened. We got a brand new car. It only had like 26 miles on it I am not sure why they give missionaries such nice cars but I'll take the 2023 rav4 they are very nice.    Went on exchanges this week with some elders in my district. They are on a bike and oh boy let me tell ya. 18 months of sitting in a car is not good for your physical condition. My legs were hurting so bad. Their area is literally called Murray HILL, the whole thing is just hills and those are not fun to peddle up haha but it was a good time. Only had to fix one tire that day.    We had a really good week with our frie...
