Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement to make. This week we got like 2 full days of sunshine! Miracles do happen and that was one of them, my poor skin is going to be so sun burnt when I see real sunshine.    We had stake conference this week in the Beaverton West stake and it was really amazing. The leaders talked a lot about the temple and service. Seems to be a common occurrence around the church. I wonder what God is trying to teach us.  I love the temple we got to go to the temple again today for p day and it was great. The Spirit is so strong always and you can always feel more peace. I would also encourage you to make some time to go to the temple even if it's to the outside.    We had a good week teaching, and just trying to find the most out of this work. I've been trying to write this email all day and now I'm out of time. Ohh hold on one more thing.  Some other Elders found a family of 3 that moved from Africa and they want to be bapt...

Well hello everyone hope all is well. This week has been pretty good. We worked hard!    We had zone conference this week. And it was themed with the robot "Tiwi" devices in our car that tell us if we are going too fast. #checkyourspeed it was really amazing. Talked about being diligent as missionaries and how to be the most efficient.  President Haymond taught us something that was really cool. But it goes like this.  - Why, why should I change?  - What, what should I change? - How, how can I change?   I think when we apply these questions into anything we do we will see what the most effective solution is. It's also good as missionaries to see that we need to give people a reason to change. Give them their why. So idk if that makes sense or not. But there you go.    Well everyone my ankle is doing much better. It's still a little sore but most of the bruising is gone and I can run on it with an ankle brace on. So I will be alright. Well happy Easter week everyone! I hope you enjoyed your time. The Farmington ward did a big BBQ and Easter egg hunt it was super fun. They were dressed up in full Easter bunny costumes. It was a bring your own meat BBQ, and well, us missionaries don't have much to spare so luckily some members took pity upon us and let us have a hamburger or 2.    We met a really cool guy this week. His name is Nehmiah. He is from India. He was referred to us from a member in a different stake. We met with him on zoom once and invited him to come to a Easter worship and he came. He is a brave man! I would have been way too nervous to go to a random church with people I've never met before a really cool miracle for sure.    Me and Elder Moore gave an intermediate message at a baptism this week. Well what a week! We have seen the Lord bless us with many opportunities to share the gospel.    I think it was last Tuesday evening we had a lesson with our friend Melissa. She is so amazing, she is from Peru but has lived in the US for a while now. Her husband is a member of the church but hasn't been to church for a while. She has been coming to church like every Sunday and has loved it. We taught the doctrine of Christ Tuesday night and she loved the idea of the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost! We invited her to be baptized on April 23rd and she said yes! She was so excited, she's like what time will we be doing it? I want to put it in my calendar haha. So we are super excited for her.    General Conference was amazing. Being a part of the true church who knows that Christ lives and guides a living prophet today! We have modern day scripture.
