Esplin, Cooper

Well this week has been awfully similar to last week. We have been trying to help people come back to church by any means that goes for pulling weeds or talking to you for a hour being a smiling face to see. That's one thing that has been weird for me. No matter what No matter how hard of a day you are having you are that smiling face you bring to people and that's OK it's just a little hard when you don't get any smiles back haha.     It has been raining alot more this week and guess who still doesn't have a rain coat... yep you guessed right this guy.. hopefully I can find one today sometime when i go shopping or I'm going to just keep soaking it all in with my dry Utah skin haha. But like it's so green here I think the grass grows at least a couple inches every night it's really cool.      We have been having a hard time finding new people to teach so if you would all not mind praying for someone for us to start teaching or to at least be open to the ...

Well this week has been a much better week. I definitely feel like I'm getting more into the whole missionary thing like I'm starting to realize that yeah I have nothing better to do but get to work and figure it out for the next 2 years Haha and I hear once you figure it out you are going home so that's just great.  We'll that's just what the old timers tell me haha.      It's amazing how inspired my mission president is. He is truly called from God just the way he talks. He talks like he is speaking the words of God he speaks with great power and authority. We had a big Zone conference with the whole mission and it was like king Benjamins tower or whatever that's what the theme was. And he Spoke to us all and it was so good I learned so much. It was good to see the other missionaries around here. One of The APs is named Elder Black and he is from Idaho apparently he is from a ranch as well it was good to talk a little hay talk with him. Well I made it here to the mission field. I am serving in the Canby 3rd ward the Oregon City zone. My trainers name is Elder Mccoy from st george utah so he is very close to home haha but never actually met the guy. i guess there is alot of people down there. Me and him are pretty much opposite though haha but he works hard and thats good so we are trying our best to get in the groove of everything. he has been out 9 months. When i came out we had a group of 40 missionaries so that was pretty crazy they have never had a group that big before. So there are kids who are training who are only like 4 or 5 months out. But he does a pretty good job.      So my area is definitely more country and has like alot of farm land and cows and everything horses pigs goats. Ive been trying my best to convince my trainer to go talk to some of those people but im having a hard time convincing him its a good idea he likes to stay in the more populated areas so that kinda makes things hard w...

Hey everyone I have almost survived my time here in the  missionary factory. They are sending them in and out of here faster than the world knows what to do with us all. But I have been enjoying my time here so much and I have made memories I will never forget. But the people around here are so great like its such a great environment to be around. At every corner you look there is a friend there that will talk to you they have no choice really lol. But one thing that when people ask where I am from they never know where I live haha then I say im by Zion national park and they all go OHHHHHHHH I love that place I've been there before  and its getting annoying but I am proud to be from the smallest high school from I think anyone here at the MTC. Hey everyone I'm alive and doing well. The mtc is going good just like alot of class from 1 to 9 with some breaks in between but it's so good. The spirt is so strong here it has been a very good learning experience.  But I'm done with classes now I just have general conference and then I leave Wednesday morning really early so that's fun.  But the food here is something else like sometimes its really good and then it absolutely destroys your stomach lol but then it's ether not all that good but I doing good don't think I'm gaining any weight yet.      My mtc comp is Elder Stewart. He is from Richfield he's a pretty cool guy we get along pretty well everyone else in my district is pretty fun as well we all seem to get along well.      I'm going to the temple for the second time while in the mtc today and im pretty excited you always learn something new every time you go.       I miss you all hope you all are doing well love you ...
