Well everyone the rain is back here in Oregon! By the way people were acting around here like we were in 3 year drought. But literally like on Wednesday we were in short sleeve shirts and it was 90° and then we wake up Thursday morning and almost turn into an Eskimo! Just glad I'm not on a bike this time of year. It's cold, rainy, colder and more rain haha. But it's a cool change of pace.    This week good ole Elder Chapman spoke in church, he had everyone in that building wanting more and it always gives us a good excuse to invite people to church. Like hey he's speaking you better come listen! But something pretty cool happened this Sunday and the story is still going as we speak.    So basically we got a call late Sunday night from a lady named Sara, she was saying she was homeless and didn't have any food. So we were like uhhh well we can meet and talk about Jesus haha. So we planned on meeting at the library at 11 am the next morning. So we go and nobo...

Alright everyone I'm back and for the first time in a while I won't say it was a fast week. It was actually, I feel like pretty slow  but that's not a bad thing. We got a lot of good work done!     So I got my new comp, Elder Chapman he is from Tucson Arizona so from all my comps he has lived the furthest away. And he is the first comp that I've had that is taller than me so that's a change haha. He is 6’ 5”. He's a good guy. He's only been out 3 months.    Funny story, so we come home for lunch after church and do all of that and we go to leave and the car won't unlock. I'm so confused then boom it hits me I left the keys inside the apartment. I turn to Elder Chapman and say "did you lock the door" He just nods and stares at me haha so we locked the keys inside... so we were like flip what we going to do...so I came up with the bright idea of breaking in through a window. And luckily we still have our AC unit in the window. We had to pry t...

Well somehow transfers have snuck up on me again. But don't you worry I am staying in Estacada but my 2 comps are getting the boot. Elder Westover is going to be a DL somewhere in the city it's not Portland but one of those many cities up there and Elder Harris is leaving me after only 1 transfer he is going to Cedar Mill hopefully he makes it to Taiwan soon. And I am getting a new comp named Elder Chapman, I don't know much about him but hope he is ready for what he is about to get himself into lol. I am also a DL all by myself now which is crazy but I'm excited!    This week has been fun a lot has happened and gotten a lot done. Still having a tough time finding new people but that's alright all God's timing. We got mega bashed by one of the dudes we are "teaching" and whenever people want to bash, I get way too worked up and get way too defensive which is never good for feeling the spirit if you were wondering haha. Hey everyone how are things going? This week has been pretty fun lots of ups and downs but it's all a great learning experience!   General Conference was such a great time! Learned so much the talks were so good. General conference on the mission is a whole new ball game I'm not sure why but it's like watching the super bowl for missionaries! Like ohhh here he comes ELDER HOLLAND WOOOO But Elder Holland did have a great talk but I think my favorite one was President Nelson's Sunday morning talk! That man speaks with so much power it will blow your socks off! The promise he left us with was so amazing! "We WILL see the greatest manifestation of the Saviors power that the world has ever seen"!  But he also warned us that we will also see some of the most troubling times as well, so there truly is opposition in all things. So I plead with you to make sure you have the spirit with you, you will need it more than ever.    So we watched a session with Brother Dod...
