I better keep the weather report going! So this week it was crazy, if I remember right we actually had like 4 days of sun! It was so crazy but we still got a good amount of rain! We were talking to someone and they said according to the professionals this is the 8th wettest year ever here in the Portland area! So that's kinda cool, I've always wanted to see water!    Well I got to do some building fence this week! Probably one of my least favorite activities back home but out here it is the most joyful thing! It's good to get the hands dirty every now and again! The guy we helped is this old feller who has about 15 cows or so. He is inactive so we were helping out! At the end of the service, we were talking to him and I brought up the church and got talking about it and well I was like hey you should come to church with us this week! He totally ignored my invite and started to talk about tractors he didn't come to say the least.    But the crazy spiritual e...

Well it was a pretty wonderful week! Just doing the Lord's work out here. The greatest work in the world! Your weekly weather update, we had about 3 days of sunshine this week! I almost got sunburnt in one of our lessons that we had outside!   We had an Easter party with one of our members! Come to find that this party is a family reunion and there was almost 200 people there. It was so fun, so many people were talking to us. So Shaw and I just spilt up and he took a family and I took a family! Divide and conquer it was a lot of fun. Met some pretty cool people and had some good laughs.    So a quick story! So we have some friends who are very religious they love their Bible! And well we had a Bible study with them on Friday!  Well a quick back story on them! They were homeless for like 10 years probably doing some bad drugs just not good things! They kind of cleaned up a little and got an apartment, but I think you all get the picture! Well… see prayers really do work! Glad Elder Chamberlain got some rain! The rain hasn't let up around here though it keeps coming! Haha actually it snowed here this Sunday nothing like a good snow storm in April!    So this week has been awesome! We had zone conference with half of the mission it was so fun! President Haymond is a great teacher I have learned so much from that man! But the true miracle this week is pretty cool! So like last transfer we had a prompting to knock on this dudes door, we talk to him and he is super nice but he wasn't interested! We left then came back a couple weeks later still was a no but we gave him our number!  Then while at Zone Conference like 4 weeks later we got a call and well it was just a random number and he was just apologizing telling us how he was so prideful and wanted us to come by we still had no idea who it was! He sent the address and when we got there, we were like OHHH this feller awesome! We go on in and he is the nicest...

Well hello everyone. And Elder Chamberlain I will gladly send you some rain from here if you send me some of that sunshine (a friend serving in Ghana)   This week has been a good week to be a missionary. What more could you ask for then to be able to watch some general conference while on a mission? If you haven't got to watch it yet I would highly recommend it. And if nothing else, they will at least give you some good life advice to be a happier human! But I loved Elder Hollands talk it was so good, give it a good listen.    This week it seems like the rain has come down more than ever but it is always fun! Ok funny story, so last week I was trying to learn to say (I am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints) in Spanish because we run into a lot of Hispanic people around here.
