General Conference

Hey everyone how are things going? This week has been pretty fun lots of ups and downs but it's all a great learning experience!

 

General Conference was such a great time! Learned so much the talks were so good. General conference on the mission is a whole new ball game I'm not sure why but it's like watching the super bowl for missionaries! Like ohhh here he comes ELDER HOLLAND WOOOO But Elder Holland did have a great talk but I think my favorite one was President Nelson's Sunday morning talk! That man speaks with so much power it will blow your socks off! The promise he left us with was so amazing! "We WILL see the greatest manifestation of the Saviors power that the world has ever seen"!  But he also warned us that we will also see some of the most troubling times as well, so there truly is opposition in all things. So I plead with you to make sure you have the spirit with you, you will need it more than ever. 

 

So we watched a session with Brother Dodge (Grandpa) the last Sunday one and he fed us PBJs haha the funniest thing ever. Like I'm very grateful, but I can make that.  And he got us 3 litters of Root beer and Elder Westover doesn't drink soda so me and Elder Harris drank 1 litter and almost exploded, I was so sick but it was a good time. 

 

Ok one cool spiritual story I guess. So like we do everyday we plan out every 30 minutes of our day. So most of the time it's SOO spiritual, so anyway I put in a contact to call this member but we totally forgot to do it. But at like 7:30pm we called and he answers and said he just barely got woke up after passing out from low blood surgery. So his wife asked to come give him a blessing! So we rushed to the other side of our area like 30 mins and was able to give him a blessing. But also his inactive daughter was there and she is having some type of surgery so she asked for one as well. It is an amazing thing to be used as an instrument by God to bless his children I'm so grateful for the opportunity!
