SURPRISE!

Well this week has been kinda wild. I had a lot of firsts for me.

But me and Elder Cramer started off the week really well. We were finding, teaching, and testifying! The Farmington ward had been doing so good. There are like 3 people who will be baptized as soon as they get married. But who knows how long that'll take them? But one day we were stopping by our friend named Jonathan.  But he didn't answer the door his brother Don answered. Said Jonathan was busy but we could talk to him. His wife Tombozi joined in as well. We told him our purpose and he goes wait you baptize people. And we were like well yes of course. Then I was like do you wanna be baptized? He was like yes! I was baptized when I was a baby and don't remember anything. But he then was like don't you think I should see the church first. So we set up a church tour for Saturday!

Flash forward to Saturday morning we are planning out the day, we do our studies and are in the middle of comp study! We get a call from a spam risk number so we of course answer it. Then boom it actually turns out to be our mission president’s wife...Sister Haymond... she then proceeds to tell us we are a part of an emergency transfer. She says,  "Elder Esplin you will be going to be a Zone leader in the cedar mill stake and Elder Cramer will be staying in Farmington" and we had to be ready to go by 6:30. That's not much time to pack up lol. So needless to say, I didn't get to be a part of that fun lesson at the church.

So I am now in the Forest Park ward in Cedar Mill with my new comp Elder Silver.  Also being a Zone leader...so fun. But yeah I still don't know much about the area other than I've seen some of the biggest houses ever.  So many rich people.  We went and visited the stake patriarch and It was literally like walking into a temple. The Spirit, The size, and the cleanliness! So that is a good time. I'm excited for my fourth area!

Something I've learned this week is the importance of a living prophet. We have someone on the earth who has been called of God to help us in these last days. We should really be listening to his words don't you think. They are probably important. Read Mosiah 3:13. We are promised some amazing things in there if we listen to the prophet.

Love - Elder Esplin

P.S. I would love to hear from you all
