Transfers

Well hello everyone I took a vacation last week from writing emails! My mom was on vacation so I get a vacation right! Haha but a lot has happened! 

 

So I got a new companion! He came straight from Ogden Utah! He is a great feller! I love training so much literally I started to train a transfer and half in and now I'm training again so that's dope! But he is just killing it makes my job easy! Fun fact he is a world champion at whip cracking and he does rope spinning and all of that so we kind of have some related interests! 

 

So last p day we were playing some basketball and well I got a nice elbow straight to my eye! So guess what I got, a nice black eye! 

It's pretty fun telling people what happened! Sometimes I say ya so I asked someone to be baptized and they got mad and just punched me! Or the good Ole yeah my companion he doesn't like me to well! It's a good conversation starter for sure! 

   But funny story so our mission president does zone conferences with half the mission at a time. So half of the missionaries go one day and we go the other! So I went on the second day and I have this nice black eye right! Well President Haymond still hadn’t seen it! But like in the middle of his talk he makes eye contact with me and starts cracking up! He goes "Elder Esplin stand up and take a spin! He then says. “Everyone Elder Esplin was at zone conference yesterday and well he fell asleep and this is what happens when you fall asleep when I talk” Then everyone just gets really quiet then president goes, just kidding and everyone just started laughing and he made me tell everyone what really happened! It was pretty funny!
