Sunshine

Hey guys guess what! I got to see the sun for a full day this week! It felt really nice on the skin! I'm going to go from the guy who never got sun burned back home to being a red tomato. There isn't too much sun up here. 

 

Anyway, this week has been a pretty good week! To start off with the most exciting news. We were able to put a kid on date to be baptized on March 26! It is so wonderful to be a part of his path back to our Father in Heaven! Along with him, his family has been inactive for a while so that's kind of sad but they said they want to start coming back as well! I love this family so much. I have been growing my friendship with them ever since I got here in Oregon. They are super fun! They have like 6 kids or so! It's kind of a mad house up there but it's so fun. My joy for kids is getting bigger. I mean I still don't know how to talk to babies I don't even get how people do that but anyway it's so awesome! 

In other news, we were able to find 3 new people on Sunday! We do about 40 minutes of trackting each day and well it's very successful at least in our area. Then other missionaries ask us how we do it and they about shiver out of their shoes just by hearing the words door knocking. They are firmly against it. But I think it's fun, you get to meet so many people and like all the missionary’s stories go you LITERALLY get doors slammed in your face but it's just so funny to me. I think people dream of the day when they can yell and slam the door in 2 very nice looking young 19 year old’s faces. But doing that Sunday we found 3 new people to teach so I think it's successful! 

 

But I know God loves each and every one of us and he has given us a way back to him through the Savior Jesus Christ! He is the way! Hope you all have a great week! Love hearing from you guys whenever you have time!
