Transfer Week

Well ladies and Gentlemen it finally happened I have been transferred! Only 9 months in my first area! Not going to lie I was pretty sad leaving that place. Canby was such an awesome place! The members there were awesome and I really had such a good relationship with most of them! And the people we were teaching it was sad to leave them as well! Put in so much work for each of them. Now passing the work down to Elder Shaw!

I am now serving in the furthest place you can get away from the mission home. The most rural area as well, at least in the Portland area anyway! It's a small town called Estacada, an old logging town and still is a logging/farming town. It's a party down here for sure so many trees and the people here are awesome! Our ward mission leader Bro Tolman he is awesome. He has been the Mission leader in this area for like 25 years he knows everyone in the whole town and we will just go on drives with him and he will take us to people to visit!

Also everyone around here believes in big foot and they got some pretty convincing evidence as well! I might start to be a believer here soon! The people are so fun to talk to here as well so many crazy old people and young people who hardly have any teeth and just chat away! I get a good kick out of it. And our apartment has had missionaries in it for like 15 years so you can just imagine what it's like!  WRECKED! haha it's kind of fun, like living in trailer out on the Arizona strip that's been parked out there for years. Never know what you will find haha!

My Comp Elder Westover is from Arizona! He is from a small town named Joseph city. His high school beat valley! He only had like 120 kids. Haha but pretty much the same. So that's pretty cool he is from a farm kinda so we can talk about some cool things.

We are teaching some people! A young 9 year old girl named Alma! She seems pretty cool! We are hoping that she will be able to be baptized here soon so that's what we are working on! But other than that there's only a couple other people. So guess what? I've already convinced my Comp Elder Westover to do some tracting! I love doing that, it's such an adventure you never know what you'll run into. Like yesterday we got bashed by some J dubs TWICE haha anyway it’s been great I'm loving serving the Lord!

I know this Gospel is true and when we really put it into our lives miracles will happen! Jesus Christ always has his hands stretched out to us whenever we are ready, he is there for us. Keep going we know who wins this battle! See and Expect Miracles!
