Happy Fourth (Late)

Well this has been a super busy week so much happening, so as a missionary that's a good thing. I've definitely not had any problems falling asleep as a missionary haha! 

 

One fun story, so we had some members move into the ward. They haven't been active for like 15 years but we got an appointment scheduled with them went over and had dinner with them and was able to share a really spiritual message with them. Got them excited about returning to church! So that’s amazing. But the Mother of this family works for this really fancy hair product place, she took one look at our hair and almost had a panic attack lol. She got us hooked up with the most hair product I've ever seen. I never knew you could put so much stuff in your hair EVERYDAY! But I have to admit that my hair has been looking better I think! Anyway that was fun. 

 

The 4th of July was really busy! I had to go on a mini exchange for like the first of the day. And well the missionary I was with is on a bike so I got my first experience on a bike! I AM SO OUT OF SHAPE my legs almost fell off! This other missionary was just having a great time but sheeesh 10 months of driving around in a car getting fat hasn't done anything good for me! But then after that we got back to normal companions, me and Elder Westover stopped by this formally taught person and well he was a J Dub and started to bash with us after a very pleasant hour of that we got away. Then we had a very nice Member invite us to a big Ole block party for dinner. We come walking into the party and BOOM the first guy that comes up to us was another J Dub who wanted to bash with us. I was like oh my gosh I do not have enough brain power right now to do this haha but we got it worked out and had a very good rest of the day did a lot of teaching. And the whole town of Estacada was going crazy with fireworks we just couldn't hardly see any of them because of the trees.
