Exchanges

So how is everyone doing? Just thought I would put this in here. If you want me to respond to you, contact me on email, I can't respond on messenger. I can only talk to family on messenger for some reason️ but it would be nice to hear from yall. 

 

So this week I went on exchanges with the Zone leader, Elder Silver and he serves in the Gresham YSA branch. His companion is Elder Balanced and he is from Laverkin Utah. Elder Silver and I get along pretty good. But anyway. Elder Silvers area covers like part of a place where things are pretty sketchy. And well he got his driving privileges taken away so guess who got to drive. Yep that's right me! I got to drive in the BIG city, boy was that an adventure haha I didn't kill anyone so that's good! But Gresham is quite the place to say the least! There are like tons of buildings and houses that are burned down and homeless people everywhere! They have these camps on the sides of the roads. They will get like old RVs and tents and tarps and make these pretty cool camp spots. They will have like a couch and stuff in there. I'm pretty sure some of them have TVs and stuff in there, they don't mess around! It was pretty cool to see for sure. I'm not sure why people live like that though every store you look at has a help wanted sign up so it's not like they can't get a job.  We were looking for a YSA that was on the records and went to his house.  His mom answered and said he had moved to Washington.  Anyway we got to talking and she asked where we were from, when I told her Orderville she freaked out and said do you know the Fab Rats crew?  Well I felt pretty famous to say Michelle has cut my hair since I was a little guy.  It’s a small world. 

 

Well idk what else to report on. Just that God is good. There is a plan for us. We are children of God and we can return to him through our Savior Jesus Christ! Keep the Faith everyone.
