Fast Week, Fast Email

Well a lot has happened this week, I feel like I was just writing one of these yesterday. 

 

Earlier this week we got a call from this member who is about 85 and lives in the middle of nowhere. He called and said that his water line was broken and needed some help. So we show up and it was just a PVC pipe that snapped. So anyway this guy just let us do it haha it was a lot of fun honestly, I didn't think I would ever be fixing pipe on the mission.  

 

Also this week we met with this girl who just graduated high school school. Anyway this girl will come to church every now again but never says she likes it but doesn't say she doesn't like it so it's a weird situation. Well we met with her and had a great lesson just taught about Jesus Christ and how to gain his power into our lives and we invited her to be baptized! And she surprisingly said yes! So August 30th we will see how committed she is. 

 

I also got to go to the big city this week for a mission leaders conference. Almost been a year out and it was my first time in downtown Portland. And yes there is a lot of homeless people and junk everywhere, nope I didn't see any fights or wars haha.  But I felt like a tourist but it's fun. 

 

 God is good!
