Merry Christmas

Hey everyone sorry for kind of being spotty on emailing I've been busy driving all around the mission picking up packages for all the missionaries in the zone so they can have a very merry Christmas. 

 

I'll give you a little update. So I think I've been out like 15 months now, I’ve had 8 different comps and only 2 areas which is amazing! I drove through down town Portland last p day and oh boy I saw more stop lights in 5 seconds then I have seen in the whole life. But it's an adventure down there that's for sure. 

 

This week was pretty cool. I went on exchanges with the Spanish Elders in my district into their area and I now know why God didn't call me to learn a language, I spent the whole day trying to learn how to say Mosiah 4:9 in Spanish and the Spanish Elders were just laughing at me all day long. Needless to say but I didn't get it learned haha. 

 

Sunday we had something pretty cool happen also kinda lame at the same time but anyway. We have been working with this one lady named Jessica for a while. Well Saturday night we went over and she had her 14 year old daughter there and the daughter said she wanted to go to church. So Jessica FINALLY said she would come. Well come Sunday morning she texted us and told us she wasn't coming, but her daughter still wanted to go. So literally her 14 year old daughter, all by herself, came to church and went to all the meetings all by herself. Like WHAT, she is such a trooper! I got scared going to a different ward at that age haha. But that was a really cool testimony builder for me and she was a great example to me! 

 

Well I hope you have a great Christmas season. I am doing good up here, everyone is in the Christmas spirit so it makes it a little easier to get some spiritual Christmas messages to people!  It really is a special experience to be serving during Christmas and holidays there is just a different feeling to it!
