New Year

Hey everyone Happy Happy New Year. Hope everyone had a great time! My new year night was pretty awesome. We got together with our district and had a zoom call with our whole mission for like an hour and a half. Then we went to a restaurant together. It was called the Tolgate.  It was actually pretty dang good. I got some chicken wings so I was happy! Then we had to be in our apartment by 8:00pm. Since me and Elder Crum live alone we just had to make due with what we have. From playing indoor corn hole, or sticky darts, to indoor ping pong haha then we went to bed at 10:30 it was sweet! 

 

Well this week has definitely had its up and downs but we truly have been blessed! So we found a new person! Wahoooo. His name is Ed. And Ed has a cool back story. So flashback to a couple weeks ago. We were driving around about 8:50 not sure what we should be doing. Then boom I see the most lit up house ever and I'm like well we should knock on that house. So we do and guess what happens...they say NO and it's too late haha who woulda thought. So we regrouped and we knew we had something to do around there and we see an apartment building probably the only apartment complex I haven't knocking in this town. So we go knock on the 3 that have lights on and they all say "not interested" then there is one more that doesn't have any lights on so guess what we do hehe we knock on it! Boom boom boom...no answer then we knock one more time! Someone answered his name was Ed! And he said to come back he would love to listen! So now we flash forward to this week we have a lesson with him and give him a Bible and Book of Mormon and he says he really would like to learn more! Miracles happen everyday! 

 

Well not sure if that makes sense but God is real, he sent His Son for us, Joseph Smith is a true prophet, the Book of Mormon is true, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord's kingdom once again established on the earth!
