Lay Hold Upon The Word
Many good things have been happening here in Farmington. Me and Elder Moore have been working hard and sleeping really good.
It was Elder Moores birthday this week. And the day of his birthday we were knocking on doors all day long haha we didn't have one lesson. I felt really bad.
Anyway but the day after that we were kinda in the same slump, so we decided to just knock this random door in the middle of this neighborhood. And this nice lady opens up and says who are you? We say we are missionaries blablabla... she goes ohhh well come on in, we were surprised, but ready. We shared a great message of Jesus Christ with her and she said that we could come back.
We have made some really good progress with our friend Michael. He said this week that he is ready to be baptized but he is living with his fiance so we need them to get married first. So please pray that they will get married soon! Also with another lady named Anny, she is the wife of a inactive member. The member was a (Do Not Contact) in our areabook. The note said when they come back to church we can talk to them. Well....they came to church the last couple weeks and this Sunday we were able to go teach them it was so wonderful! And we are going back this week and going to start getting Anny prepared for baptism. Super excited for what is going down in the area. God is good.
I heard this talk this week and it has completely changed my out look on life and how I can always do better. Please if you have a minute listen to it. Totally worth it!
