Had a good week I feel like so much happened this week but I am having a hard time remembering it all right now but I'll share some thoughts.

So last Tuesday we went to the Zoo which was awesome saw some fun animals. But we went to the temple with our friends from Haiti and it was awesome. They have never seen such a building and were taking so many photos it was so funny. But we witnessed a miracle while we were there. So we were sitting on a bench and this random member came up and shared her testimony of when she first heard the gospel a couple years ago. She shared her story of baptism and the things she testified of were the exact concerns our friends had. It was truly amazing to see. But non the less it was a great time. But the story goes on. About half way through the tour I was getting like a million phone calls from missionaries in the zone.  So I finally decided to answer one of them. Well it turns out an elder in the zone crashed his bike and hit his head and needed to go to the hospital... so that was awesome to deal with. We ended the lesson and drove 25 minutes to where he was at. We just ended up taking him to Presidents Botchways (because he is a doctor). But he was pretty messed up but he is all good now.

We did this random service for this Hindu festival! It was very interesting to see two missionaries at this festival but it was a good time, Hindu people are awesome and they cook really good food.

We spent a lot of time knocking on doors this week, big surprise. I'm not sure if I have said this or not but I literally have developed a callous on my knuckles from door knocking so much. I’m pretty proud of it haha.

Well for a spiritual thought for the week I wanted to talk about a talk that Elder Bednar gave in general conference in the afternoon April. "Abide in Me, and I in You; Therefore Walk with Me”

A quote he has in there I'll share.

"The Savior’s promise to abide in us is true and available to every covenant-keeping member of His restored Church"

I can't really explain this by typing it so I would challenge you to go and study this talk and think to yourself what it means to abide in Christ!

Well sorry that's all I got for the week but it's good I'm loving it out here. I'm sad my time is running out I can't believe it. Only a couple more weeks left, I'm still working hard! God is our father, Jesus Christ Lives and loves us, the book of mormon is true, the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's kingdom here on earth!

love

-Elder Esplin
